 forming a group to play the board game Dominion (and it’s expansions) on a regular basis at the Source. Easily, one of the most popular and well designed games released in the past few years, the fanbase of Dominion continues to grow and now you have an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a new group that will be playing on a regualr basis. Initally, they’ll be meeting on the last Wednesday of each month with a start time of 5:30PM (which may be adjusted depending on player needs). All skill levels are welcome and everyone is encouraged to join us in the festivities!

TIM’S BACK ISSUE CORNER NEWS & NOTES!
News & Notes Regarding Back Issue Activity at the Source!  Welcome to Tim’s Corner, Sometimes when I read comics, I think, if all the stuff that happens to comic book characters in what appears to be short periods of time and month after month, would happen to a regular person, they would go insane. Peter Parker should be bouncing off the walls. Then I watch the news and read what happens to people in the world, and there are people that deal with challenges and tragedies day after day and persevere. I wish everyone going through personal challenges and tragedies well. Enough serious stuff, time to get down to the serious stuff: comic books. From collections we have several issues of the Classics Illustrated series that First comics put out a number of years ago. Also, some early issues of the JLA title, Marvel Super Hero Secret
Wars, early issues of Marvel Team up vol 1, a number of issues of the Marvel Star Wars title, and finally some issues of Thor in the late 200’s. Also the usual packs, and recent comics made their way out to the floor. In the words of Stan Lee, Excelsior! |
