There was an error on the time of the start of the Launch Booster Draft. It has been posted both on this website and on posters in the store that we are starting at 11am. This is wrong. The store does not open till noon. We will start sign-up at noon and begin the draft at 12:30pm.
Booster Draft using Gatecrash Boosters
Prizes will be awarded in Dragon’s Maze Boosters after midnight
The finishing rankings from this tournament will determine the order in the front of the line for our midnight release of Dragon’s Maze. Customers who have a pre-sale ticket for booster boxes will be given a Buy-a-Box Promo card, one per player, as supplies last.
Because of the limited number of each Guild and to try and keep the logistics of getting the events started, we will be giving out the Guild Packs randomly at the start of each event and players can trade with other players for the Guild Packs they want. Unlike previous Pre-Release events from this cycle we will not be able to switch with players to be sure they are able to get the exact Guild combo they may want. Guild Buttons will be given, first come first served, once the deck building has started for each event. The allocation of decks and buttons and all other event materials is made by Wizards of the Coast and we at the Source will try our best to get each player what they would like but are unable to guarantee everyone will have access to their first choice.
We are excited to be able to add a midnight event to our weekend. Both Chad and Todd think the extra fun is work the long day.
Tickets are available now and events nearly always sell out before the day of the event.

12:30pm -Two Headed Giant Sealed – Swiss rounds and then Top 4 or 8 depending on number of teams – Prizes for top finishers – $50/team Entry
1:30pm – Sealed Event – 4 Rounds of Swiss – Prizes for the top finishers – $25 Entry
The Source will begin pre-sale for Booster Boxes of Dragon’s Maze starting at 10am, Thursday, April 4th.
You will be able to order in person at the store or call 651-645-0386 and pay via credit card.
Gatecrash Pre-sale sold out in about 2 1/2 days, so be sure to mark your calendar to get a chance to buy Dragon’s Maze at a special low pre-order price.
Price has yet to be determined but we will announce sometime before April 4th.

Just before FNM started today, our last pre-release ticket was sold. Those who have payed for tickets over the phone be sure to bring a photo ID and plan to be here at least 15 minutes early to pick up you tickets and fill out your info.

For the Gatecrash release we are going to try something a little new when it comes to waiting for the set to release at Midnight and how we work the way you get to first in line to pick up promo cards and foraign cards. We will be haveing a 32 player Booster Draft, and the order you finish will determine the order you are in line.
Thursday, January 31st at 7pm – $15.00 Entry – Return to Ravnica will be used for Drafting. Prizes will be given in Gatecrash boosters after midnight.
Promo Buy-a-Box cards will be given out as supplies last in order of those standing in line. You must have a ticket for a pre-sale box of Gatecrash and only one per customer. The first 32 places in line will be determined by the booster draft.
