DOMINION BOARD GAME GROUP AT THE SOURCE!

Last Wednesday Evening of Every Month!

The Source is pleased to announce that one of our regulars, is 100 Toy Soldier Adforming a group to play the board game Dominion (and it’s expansions) on a regular basis at the Source. Easily, one of the most popular and well designed games released in the past few years, the fanbase of Dominion continues to grow and now you have an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a new group that will be playing on a regualr basis. Initally, they’ll be meeting on the last Wednesday of each month with a start time of 5:30PM (which may be adjusted depending on player needs). All skill levels are welcome and everyone is encouraged to join us in the festivities!

In the bejeweled ciy of Absalom, something has gone horribly wrong! The Primarch has abdicated to a common thief. Business as usual in the city has been disrupted and the guilds want you to stop it; or maybe they’re playing a part in it? Will your party be able to stop the new Primarch before he brings the city to ruin?

FREE RPG DAY! SATURDAY JUNE 19TH! OPEN AT 10AM!

Looking for RPG Designers, GM’s & DM’s!
Free RPG Day 2010 is rapidly coming up on Saturday June 19th! Free RPG Day 2010The Source is excited to put on another great event and we need your help! First, if any of you local types are  RPG designers who would like to come down and show of their games, you’re welcome! Send us an e-mail ( bobsource@aol.com – put free RPG Day in the header) and include your name, game name(s), what you’d like to do (demo, signing, etc.), when you are available on the 19th and your complete contact info!

Second, we’d like to run some intro games to show off the games that are in the Free RPG Day program. If you are comfortable enough to runa quick 2-3 hour adventure for 5-6 players withpre-generated characters then send us an email (bobsource@aol.com – put free RPG Day in the header) with your name, the games you’d like to run and when you’re available on the 19th to run them. Here is a list of the games we are looking for:

Evidently there’s some sort of Jupiter Nerd effect going on in Minneapolis over the next week!

From the organizers “Nerd Party is an excuse to geek out for a week and do all the nerdy stuff you usually do at home out in the open. It will feature art installations, video games, movie nights and more! From June 15-21, 2010 we will take over the old Arise! On Free Comic Book Day, over 2 million comic books will be given away by participating stores, introducing as many people as possible to the wonders of comic books!
