It is the age old battle between humanity and the undead in a Russian Civil War Classic!

It is a great day in Berserkistan. The Czech Legion has the Tsar’s Gold, a train to carry everything and a port provided by the Sultan of Berserkistan, who wants just a little bit of the gold. There is only one bit the Czechs do not know. The port is controlled by the French, with the aid of 2 brigades of White’s, who themselves are waiting to be evacuated to safety. And….there are 3 brigades of veteran Red’s pursuing the Czechs. The battle unfolds with a White commander, who has been invited by the Sultan to be in his country, decides the Sultan does not need any gold and attacks him, killing the Sultan, his son and demolishes the first gold car. The Czech Legion returns fire, the Reds occupy the Sultans summer home and most of northern Berserkistan, a mountain pass is closed with mines by the French, the USA sends forces in to support the Czech and the Sultan, and the Reds are late for most of the party and very unhappy. Remnants of the Czech legion gather what gold they can and move into Turkey…great times 🙂
The islands were rich and the Turks knew they were. The Turks had moved heavy artillery in to support their German Allies factor. The Kaiser was sending a new Air Cruiser to help in the subjugation of the island just off the coast of the their factor. Defending said island where the headhunting natives armed with bolt throwing mastodons and witch doctors. The straits between the island was patrolled by Turkish warships and it is here the USA fleet makes its move to take the factor and clear the straits. There was ramming, bolt throwers disabling new air cruisers, lighting bolts, Walkers, flame tanks and hypnotic powers all to no avail as the British – USA task force takes both islands.. Great good times!! Thanks to Brent!!
It was 1921. The city of Odessa was the last port left to leave the Motherland and the Whites were determined to fight one last good fight. A fast moving Red Army, made up of Cavalry, Armor and an Armored Train had appeared out the approaches in an attempt to take the port in a coup de main. Unknown to the Red Army there was a brigade of French Senegalese and a British Brigade of Regulars on site. The Red cavalry charged the dismounted White veterans and were thrown back in a bloody fight. The Armored unloaded but where suppressed by a well in-placed Senegalese Brigade. In the end the Red’s were soundly defeated, it looks like the fight will continue in Berserkastan.
We got to use the Big Guns in a Spearhead game. Panthers, Tigers, JSU 152….wow. Great time was had. We used a hidden movement system and a new Recon system that gives anew feel to the battle
The Germans recon was in great form and force a late combat for a German Win
We used Wilderness War rules with 28 mm figures to recreate a late war meeting engagement of the American Civil War. Troop are in good morale and training. It was a dog fight. With battle still in full form as the sun was setting, a truce was called and both sides declared victory. Well played and fought.
Persians set up kill the Spartans and loose the battle….of course
