It is Guildford Courthouse … and a Frenzy of Colonels

Using 15mm figures in Blackpowder rules.  We refought the battle of Guildford Courthouse.   We had many commanders and many new to the rules.  Our hats are off to the brave lads who refereed us and taught a new set of rules.

The battle starts off with a line of very bad US militia facing some very good British regulars.  The US second line is also good, and the idea is for the militia to just wear em out a bit.

Nothing went right for the British,  one flank did not get moving for the better part of the game, and the other flank ran up against a fence line.  After the first round of British artillery  a US militia bn ran off,  but that was it.  The rest fought a hard battle and the British never got to the second line.  Great times good gaming.
